Quarter 01 - 2009 Demo Reel

First Minute
Illustrations

1.Scorpion: (January 2009) Solo project; I first created a drawing of the character and then designed the mech model in the background using Maya. I used Maya to light the model and then imported the render into Photoshop CS4 and proceeded to paint them together into one piece.

2.A Tale of Consumption Part 02: (November 2008) Series Piece; After outlining the scene on the story board and sketch book. I created the environment in Maya, including fully modeled and textured trees, foliage, and mechanical doll. I brought the renders into Photoshop CS3 and combined them with the original sketches to make a single piece.

3.A Tale of Consumption Part 08: (November 2008) Series Piece; After outlining the scene on the story board and sketch book. I created the environment in Maya, including fully modeled and textured four armed monster. I brought the renders into Photoshop CS3 and combined them with the original sketches to make a single piece.

4.FurFright Con Poster: (June 2008) Commission; This piece features a large lance created in Maya, which has various details including a fully modeled skull. This was applied and painted together with the sketch in Photoshop CS3 to make a single piece.

5.A Tale of Consumption Part 01: (November 2008) Series Piece; After outlining the scene on the story board and sketch book. I created the environment in Maya, including the fully modeled and textured robot in the background. I brought the renders into Photoshop CS3 and combined them with the original sketches to make a single piece.

6.Neo Omega: (July 2008); Several sketches were brought together in Photoshop CS3 and painted individually to create a large piece of multi-layered complexity.

Second Minute
Animation & Modeling

1.The Brooding Bridman: (April 2008) Stop Motion; In this piece I designed and built the featured character, including the metal armature and replaceable parts. On top of this, I created the set piece, lighting, and also did the animation and image compiling. In short, I made everything.

2.Mech Model: (January 2009) Maya Model; Large, complex model for the Scorpion illustration.

3.Character Face: (July 2009) Maya Model;

4.Female Skull: (June 2009) Maya Model; Model for FurFright Con Poster
