meredith is so cooooool- i hated her for a long time (i guess since she nearly drowned in the sea- after that i started hating her, don't know why...) but then she really came back and now she's great again and i love her! and i wanna see them together forever!

Actually, she was probably so pissed off because she hurried to set up and light all those billion candles and then she realizes that she could have taken her sweet time.

This is a much happier finale than season5 or any of the others for that matter. But i have to say, season 2 and season 5 and the best endings, although i love love love this ending!!

i think thats why most people thought derek would get hit by a bus - which Shonda did by using a dream sequence - cuz of all the unhappy endings of seasons past?
wt was season 2's ending again? was dt when addie came back?

Season 2 ended with Denny dying, Izzie quitting, MerDer having sex in an exam room and at the very end Meredith is standing before Derek and Finn while they both say her name and she looks between them, unable to choose.

If you mean she came back as in her first appearance, that would be the season 1 finale. She was in all of season 2.
