A/N: Filler chapter :/ I'll probably upload more later.

Recap: Sienna saw Austin.

"So why did you have this dinner anyway, Nick?" Natalie asked. Everyone—and by everyone, that meant Mr. and Mrs. Jonas, Jaida's parents, Kevin, Natalie, Joe, Sienna, Nick, and Jaida—was at Kevin's for some dinner Nick had put together, sitting at his dining table. Frankie and Tailia were at "the little kids' table" with Jessa and Tiffany. It had been about five days since Nick proposed to Jaida, but they still hadn't told anyone. They wanted to do it with everyone there so they didn't have to keep repeating themselves.
"Well, uh, me and Jaida have to tell you all something." He started, grabbing Jaida's hand under the table and lightly squeezing it. Jaida smiled and took it from there.
"Nick and I are engaged!" she said happily. Kevin, Natalie, Joe, and Sienna smiled, happy for them, but the parents had different opinions.
"What?" Mr. Jonas spat, looking over at them. Jaida bit down on her bottom lip, not liking how this was going. Everyone was silent as they stared at Nick and Jaida, but then Joe let out a small laugh.
"What's so funny?" Nick asked, getting annoyed by his brother. Joe just shook his head.
"Nothing, it's just, this is kinda what happened when—" he stopped, glancing over at Sienna. "When we told them." He chuckled one last time, Sienna nervously laughing with him so he wasn't alone, but everyone just gave them weird looks.
"Nicholas, I think you're a bit too young to be getting married." Mr. Jonas said. That set something off in Nick. Sure, they were 19, but they were in love, and he knew Jaida was who he wanted to spend his life with.
"Young?" Nick argued, raising his voice a little. He pointed over at Kevin and Natalie. "They were my age when they got engaged! So how come I'm young?" Mr. Jonas went to open his mouth again, but Nick went on. "I've even known Jaida longer than Kevin knew Nat when they got engaged! Why was it fine for them to get married at this age? Was it because she had a kid!? Because I thought it'd be more responsible and wait until marriage!" He could see Natalie bow her head in shame from the corner of his eye, and Kevin give him an awful look. He didn't mean to target her like that, but he didn't get why he was too young when for Kevin, it was perfectly fine.
"I think it's perfectly fine for my daughter to marry you, Nick." Jaida's mom but in, a small, tight smile on her lips. Jaida couldn't help but smile. Her mom always liked Nick.
"Can I see the ring?" Natalie asked, trying to break any tension that was left. Jaida nodded and they got into a conversation about the ring. Nick just stared down at his plate, embarrassed, and still a little bit mad about what his dad had said. He felt a tap on his shoulder, making him jump a bit.
"Can I see you in the kitchen?" Sienna's voice asked. When he turned around, she was already walking to the kitchen. He excused himself and followed her.
"So when did you propose to her?" she asked once he was in the room. She leaned against the counter, waiting for a response.
"Sunday night. On the beach." He said. Sienna's face changed.
"That was the night before I saw—" she stopped herself. She hadn't exactly told anyone about Austin, and she didn't plan to anytime soon. "How'd you propose?" she asked.
"No, what were you going to say?" He knew she'd changed the subject and now was curious.
"Nothing."
"Sienna, who did you see?"
"No one." Nick walked over to her and rubbed her arm lightly, trying to be comforting.
"You know Siee, you can tell me anything." He cooed. She sighed, knowing what he was doing.
"Nick!" she groaned, walking away.
"Oh, come on! Tell me!"
"Fine." She crossed her arms over her chest, feeling defeated. "I saw Austin." Nick eyes widened.
"Where?! Did you like, visit the prison or something?!"
"No. He got released early. I saw him at the store."
"What happened?"
"Nothing really, he just...talked to me. Maybe threatened a little."
"What?! He can't threaten you!"
"Look, Nick, please just don't tell Joe." She begged, grabbing his arm.
"You haven't told Joe?! Siee! You need to tell him!"
"Why?! It's not a big deal. It's not like Austin could find me anyway. Just don't tell him. He'll get all mad and defensive, and I don't want him to worry. I myself don't want to worry, with Ellie coming soon."
"Ellie?" Nick asked with a chuckle.
"Yes, Ellie. That what I decided to call her, and she likes it." Nick smiled at his niece's name, but then went back to the serious matter.
"Look, I won't tell him. But even if there's a little sign of Austin anything, you have to tell him."
"Okay, okay." They walked back to the dining room, both of them pretending like Austin was never mentioned.
