Sweet Hitch-Hiker is one of my favorite CCR songs. I saw John Fogerty on the Blue Moon Swamp tour which was the 1st time he was playing CCR songs in a long time. I was right in front respectfully shouting my request for Sweet Hitch-Hiker even though I kinda knew he wouldn't play it. To my surprise 8 years later on the Deja-Vu (All Over Again) tour again tour, the song was played with authority! I can't help but think I might have finally honored my request.
