The Triton was a worthy winner. Ahead of the others for safety. Drive these cars off road or on a wet or slippery surface and you will appreciate the ability to engage all wheel drive without locking the centre diff. Also, the Hilux still only has a lap belt in the rear centre seating position. The newer Amarok and Ford Ranger/BT50 may now be ahead of the Triton but the cars in this comparison are cetainly not.

sorry but i work in the industry and have driven every dual cab on the market and the triton is a bucket of shit just ask anyone who has actually driven one more than once we have all of these cars in our fleet and the overwhelming winner for everybody who drives these cars is the ford ranger no one likes the triton it is a slow underpowered junk box nice mitsubishi advertising though
