COMMENTS ON MARCELO'S SHOW AT THE MAGIC CASTLE, SEPT. 2, 2006
This was not just a magic show, but a renewing of the childhood wonder that still lies in each of us. Marcelo reminded the audience that it is us that makes the magic, our willingness to believe. He had each of us on the edge of our seats as we saw coins tr ...avel directly through his hands, watched one card travel through a deck of cards from the top of the deck to the bottom, witnessed cards simply disappearing into thin air and that's not even mentioning the levitating eye glasses taken from an audience member! He took us on a journey into the space in the universe where anything is possible, expressing that he believes as Picasso did, that his job is to make us see the light within ourselves. Marcelo's show was by far 30 minutes of the best magic I've ever seen in my life. Thank you for bringing your magic into the world!
