Be very careful with this carry - since the Moby has stretchy edges, a baby who cannot sit well on her own or who wants to lean away can just arch right out of those crossed straps. Make sure that each strap is spread from knee to knee and baby is in a nice deep squat position around your hip, that will help with the falling risk; keep an arm around the baby. This carry is much safer with a Moby D or Wrapsody Bali Stretch (or a woven wrap). since they have non-stretchy hemmed edges.

Awesome! So easy! New favorite for us :)

This was great! I watched it twice, then quickly tied it on. In the store, I slipped LO in and he loved it!

THANK YOU! finally an easier way to set up a hip hold :)

This is great- the only hip-hold I've seen that I could do before leaving the house and lift my son into from his carseat without having to wrap him in the parking lot. Now I'm using a home-made wrap and it's either shorter or I'm just bigger than you because I can't knot it a second time- is it still secure (it feels secure)?

Thank you. This has been the easiest hip/side hold moby wrap video for me to follow! It works great.

wow this is way too fast... i had to watch it like 5 times just to keep up
I would just skip the first knot that I tired on the hip that the baby is sitting then double knot on the side the baby is not sitting to hold it all securely. I do the knot under the baby just to give her a little extra seat, but it is not needed.
