Talkshowhost: "You can win tickets to the red carpet premier or Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, if you are caller 15!"
~~Narrator~~
Lily reached across her bed to pick up her phone. She quickly dialed the radio number she knew all to well from entering so many contests, but never winning. She wasn't too confident that she would win, but she still always tried. This day, however, instead of beeping, the phone line was ringing.
Talkshowhost: "Hello, you're lucky caller 15! Whats your name?"
Lily: "Uh, ohmygosh, whats my name?!?!!?"
Talkshowhost: "Ummm, do you know you're name darling?"
Mom: "LILY, GET OFF THE PHONE RIGHT NOW!!!"
Lily: "My names Lily! I remember my name now!!"
Talkshowhost: "Ok Lily, you have just won the contest! Stay online and we will get your address, so we can send you your tickets!"
Lily: "Ohmygosh, thanks so much!"

Lily stayed the phone for 5 more minutes, giving in her address and phone number. To her mother and father, however, that was five minutes too long. Right after Lily hung up the phone, they barged into her room and stood on either side of her. Her parents took turns hitting and slapping their daughter. Lily begged them to stop, as always, but the abuse went on for over half an hour. They left their daughter crying on the floor. This was not at all unusual for Lily, her parents usually did this when they were drunk or really mad. But no one knew about this, not even Macy. This was Lily's fallen secret.
