Video #1 from a series of 4 about the broader aspects of Martial Arts and self defense. I duscuss Martial Arts versus martial craft. What scenarios there are for Martial Arts.

These videos are for entertainment, and not for instructional purpose. I do not take any liablilitie for things that happen to you or others if and when you follow them. You need a qualified instructor and sholuc aks your medical doctors counsel on them if you wish to practice. Where it seems appropriate ask a local lawyer.

  • Sorry it took me so long to pop in here.

So I am more of a crafts man than an artist :-) The road to perfection is very long.

  • Not every "martial" skill is physical. It is the mind that wins the confrontation, and the body acts accordingly (hopefully at least ;-) ). Your martial art is the art of raising questions in a unique way, and it is questions - well OK and fiindig the answers admitedly - that bring us down from the trees.

So if you are by your own admittance a craftsman then I mus say I always enjoy watching your crafts result.

And yes, a long road to perfection, but fun to walk.

    :-)

  • A long road and a long search indeed. But the also a worthy path to walk. Especially the internal styles hold much reward for the diligent and patient. I found that again and again.

The older I become, the longer the hours get in which I just practice standing

    ;-))))

    have a nice day
