Tara muere en los brazos de Willow, y a continuacion recuerda su vida junto a ella (notese el fundido en blanco y el aumento del brillo de la imagen). Tras los recuerdos vemos a Willow en el cementerio visitando la tumba de Tara, y finaliza con un hermoso beso.

I read that the reason that Tara was in the opening credits until the episode she died because he wanted to do something where he put someone in the opening credits for the first time and then kill them the same episode. He was originally gonna do it with Jesse in the very first episode but the network wouldn't let him. So, he ended up doin it with Tara instead. It's actually kind of genius if you think about it. It throws off the audience...
