This is very true. I was born and raised in Ecuador and because of my skin color I was privileged. It wasn't until I traveled to the US that I realized what racism was. Now that I live in the US and have lost the white privilege I enjoyed back home in Ecuador I view life in a different way. I hope one day Ecuador becomes a place of equality and not a hierarchy that has preference for those people of light complexion.

In the Dominican republic, Black Dominicans are denied citizenships, In Brazil, a city with a Black majority population had no Blacl major in 82 years & its university only recently start taking in Black students. White racist Scum of the earth Spanians still rule latin ameriica today. But not forever, as 1 day the tables will turn & they will fall like their friends in Aparheid South Africa.
