The thing is this hoax is still selling disks and garnering interest in Paul McCartney here on You Tube. Why would Paul want to come clean now when it is still working? He's about 70 years old and people are still fascinated with him and the rest of the Beatles and the mysteries.

@VonFisch1 the real tragedy lost in this is the fact charles manson is still in prison for shit he never did and never wanted any part of the man never even got fucking trial he is coming up for parole in 2012 i pray justice will prevail and the man gets freed

@tecusen It wasn't a hoax put on by the Beatles but I do believe it when John said Paul would try to stand out a little among the others. I hadn't seen any evidence of any Beatle giving up the joke, they made fun of people reading into their stuff, hence, I am the Walrus and Glass Onion.
Look at the result of Charles Manson reading into their stuff, a horrific tragedy, and let that be a cautionary tale for others to get their head on straight.
