Tuffy Rhodes homered twice to drive in four runs and helped ease
the way for Chihiro Kaneko, who allowed three runs -- two earned --
over seven innings in Orix's rout of Lotte.

Benny Agbayani's two-run drive gave Lotte a 2-1 lead in the
second inning before Rhodes evened the score with a solo blast in the
third and hit a tiebreaking three-run shot to key a six-run fifth as
Orix went ahead 8-2 at Tokyo Dome.

Kaneko (2-2) allowed eight hits while striking out three and
walking one. Lotte starter Hiroyuki Kobayashi (1-3) was roughed up
for eight runs in 4-1/3 innings.
