Probie scores his 4th goal of the playoffs vs the St Louis Blues in game 3 of the 1988 Norris Division Finals. Detroit would lose the game 6-3, but win the series 4 games to 1. They lost to Edmonton in the Campbell Conference Finals 4 games to 1.

  • As much as I like Ken Daniels now, Dave Strader and Mickey Redmond were a GREAT team on Red Wings broadcasts in the 80's and early 90's!

  • Bob Probert from the 1988 season would have been on the all century team. RIP. I saw him play in person at HP Pavillion in 1993. What a presence. He looked like a giant. Odgers tried fighting him twice, but it didn't work out too well.
