@daughtryfan458: They were both very active however 2008 was deadlier because it had Gustav, Ike and Paloma which all messed up the Caribbean and the first two also attacked the US Gulf Coast. 2007 was still active but it was not a deadly season at all besides perhaps Dean and Felix which caused severe damage to parts of Mexico and the Caribbean
