Since it's my birthday, indulge me in some heartbreaking reminiscing: my first love, who sadly did not return my affections, recorded the song from the opera and sent it to me (we were friends and she wanted my opinion). Ever since, this game in general, and this scene in particular, makes my heart ache just a little.

@ebagentj Never had much heartbreak. Closest I got was being rejected by a crush, stood up by a date, or hitting it off with a cute girl at a bar and she doesn't respond to any texts after that. Oh and happy birthday by the way :).

Aaah..... the "Aria di Mezzo Carattere", when the game first came out, this part was a little revolution in itself. I too was hoping that you would sing all the voices (or maybe with help from a co-LPer). :-) Maybe you could still have tried in a lower pitch some octaves below? Drinking a little bit of alcohol (vodka? whiskey? sake?) beforehand can help you reach higher notes as your vocal cords would be a little bit more relaxed.

@newfiebangaa ty for the birthday wishes. I've been dumped in the past (although in most cases, it was for the better and I'm glad it happened), but that girl's rejection really stung (especially since she started dating/living with someone else right after, and she's still with her). I eventually got over it...only to have my heart thoroughly broken once again a little over a year ago. But hey, I'm a writer. Life experience works in my favor.
