This is exactly how not to take a family picture. The background looks like the tree is growing out of the persons head. There is a fence post in the shot. Not all the members are included some in and some out. No balance in the group. I would have put the older members in chairs followed by the next oldest behind the chairs and the children sitting on the ground. Next time hire me and I will come to the party and shoot the image for them.
