Love you, love this song. I live in Oregon. I read through the discussion around pronunciation below. Just wanted to let you know people here do take it seriously. Or-y-gun is the accepted pronunciation. Saying "gone" is quickly corrected here.

Dude, I lived in Salem for 22 years born and raised! I don't know, maybe it's just you or something, but it's totally been pronounced "Or-ghun" when I was growing up! No disrespect though.

just so you know, people who are from Oregon pronounce it "Or-gun", not "Or-ih-gun". It's a bit of a known fact, we always give people from out of state a hard time for pronouncing it like that. Anyone who has lived here pronounces it "Or-gun".
