is it possible to add more pins to sort of fold it over many faces?

@todoenconstruccion make objects components for objects used over and over and over and over----again...please try that, low detaailed 8 MB models dont make me happy :)

Have you tried purging your model? Go to Window > Model Info > Statistic and click Purge Unused. That might slim down your model. Good luck!

Is stretching available in the free version of SketchUp or just in Pro?

Yes, I believe it might be. I took the picture a couple of years ago while in Rome, but I'm not 100% sure where I was standing (exactly) when I took it. How did you recognize it?
