The family of Marine Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez, who died at age 29 of skin cancer, ask for changes in the law that would allow members of the military to sue for medical malpractice. Rodriguez died of skin cancer that was diagnosed by military doctors who never told him about the diagnosis.
A 1950 Supreme Court decision - Feres vs. United States - prohibits members of the military from suing for medial malpractice.
