This review is the best I've seen. Ignore that craptastic review that IGN has. They shot the game down for server issues that could be fixed and didn't give it the right credit. This game works now and is worth playing in my opinion.

@AzureSkieth They shot the game down for server issues because that was what it was like when released. When it was released people had a right to know things weren't working.

@AzureSkieth That wasn't a crappy review at all. IGN was right when they reviewed it. If you were around when it came out, you would have known IGN waited weeks to review that game after it was released to see if the issues would be fixed. You can only wait so long to review a game before you have to admit it's crappy. Also there were HUGE issues with the game. It took a year for the game to get straightened out. And after it did, I must say it is my favorite SOCOM game to play online.

confrontation is a Epic failure when compared to socomCA, the person commenting said alot of socom vets were happy with the vehicles being taken out this is completely false as i myself have witnessed and several others many fans of socomCA moved over 2 confrontation expecting it 2 be great when in fact it was dramatically different, months later, the crowd of socom fans including myself gave up socom and now the online community suffers with about 4000ppl online last i checked

can someone help me... i just bought this game yesterday and i was playing on a night map and i tried to go into night vision..and couldnt...do i need to have the night vision goggles equiped on my character to use them?

playing socom in the last round, score tied, 1 noob vs 1 camping vet

i know caused i was that noob

i was in the urban villade like area, climbed a building, and sniiped him. i danced in the game, AND in real life!

It's too bad the servers and glitches weren't fixed ever. That shouldnmake it like 5 or 6 out of 10. Lazy and just sloppy.

Hopefully socom 4 will be good, it looks very different but also looks awsome!

i thing socom is for the REAL online gamers and all the COD games are for 12 year old kids, yes I have COd games BUT idotn play them as much as socom, the gun are so real becaue well... they got all the guns that are in the games and recorded them in some firing rang some place, i love the game, with or with out the errors its an awsome game, to me its as real as real can get with out going out the war

@bodies72 Yeah, there are plenty. I mean sure, they did just recently close a few servers but there is still a high population of people playing. And no you don't need to download the DLC. They have separate servers for the people who didn't get the Cold Front DLC and those who did. Both usually have plenty of people on it.
