Enabling Multitouch/Driver Installation on the Xperia X10 (Dual Touch)

This video shows how to install the dual-touch drivers on any X10 running 2.1/2.1-update1 as well as the tweak to allow dual-touch to work in all (supported) apps. This tweak does NOT require Root Manager as shown in the original XDA thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=921302

Dual-touch is NOT available for the X10 Mini.

To use dual-touch in Google Maps, you need to have version 5, not 4.4. Update Google Maps!

This works on ANY X10.
Touch driver installation does NOT require root.
The tweak REQUIRES root but is OPTIONAL.

You MUST have PC Companion and Update Service installed.

@PinkFloyd45333 *facepalm* You're install X10 software onto an X10 Mini Pro. Not even similar.

Link to the X10 Mini Pro dual-touch add-on added to the description. It's included in most new ROMs. Install a custom ROM with it in included. Read XDA.

2. It's your own fault. The FIRST line in the description (before I just edited just now) is: "Backup your phone before attempting this." That's why Backup & Restore exists.
