Morning Vibe session. Sorry it's not EQ'ed, just a MXL R-144 mic straight into a Kodak Zi8 camcorder.

  • @asianaxeman that's awesome! Glad to hear you're using it with a fuzz. I've found that if you run your chain like this Guitar - Fuzz Face - Vibe - Amp with just some light overdrive from the amp it sounds really good. That was Jimi's trick on running his vibe after the fuzz. That going into an overdriven amp sounds huge. Takes a while to find the sweet spot but when you do it's awesome.

  • @bgingras05 hey buddy..pulled the trigger on the mojo, probably the only one in the country...I'm lovin' it man! great organic swirl, works well in the loop as well as in front, couldn't ask for more, really really nice tone and undertones if you know what I'm saying, on clean and before fuzz (i have a fuzz face clone)! thanks for your help

  • @bgingras05 Fulltone.....

  • @asianaxeman man sorry for the delay! If you have the money, I'd go with the Mojo Vibe. I had one and wish I had kept it. I own a FuuTone Deja Vibe now (white box) it's not as in your face as the Mojo, but it has just enough swirl to make a big grin on your face when you're playing. As far as the Retrovibe, I haven't heard that paticular one. The pickle is nice because it's set and forget, it's more a modded phase pedal from what I've heard other people explain. I'd go with the Mojo or Deja.

  • @bgingras05 hey man how would u compare the mojovibe to the pickle, im trying to decide between those 2 and the jam pedals retrovibe, please help...!

  • @popomczowzow , hey I wasn't sure if I ever got back with you, I may have sent a private message. Yeah I think it should be fine. I had bought that Haze vibe and its just a fancy two stage phaser it seems. It popped bad too like the pickle. I went back to a Mini Deja Vibe, its built right and it sounds right. I was just trying not to spend that much on a vibe but you can't recreate that sound unless its got a lamp in it.

  • @down202 You need an excuse to smoke a cigar?

  • @bgingras05 so if I leave it on my board all the time plugged in with the power supply running into it, then it shouldn't be much of a problem for me then, right?

  • @popomczowzow, yeah it does sadly, I have another demo uploaded I believe with the Pickle and a Chicken Salad and it pops in it. The trick is when its first powered up to discharge the capacitors inside by pressing the stomp switch quickly on and off a couple times. Truth be told this was kinda a pain because I seldom remembered to do that. I've also heard that you're supposed to do that with all true bypass pedals though. I wish I hadn't sold it but I got a good deal on a Mojo Vibe.

  • I've heard the pickle vibe pops loudly when engaged....so....does it?
