@princessivoryrose yea he took pills and was in stress long before The Joker role..also Christian Bale stated that Heath was a professional actor and that The Joker role didn't fuck him up like some people are saying...

@Susi2584 I thought that his death had to do with a culmination of stress. I always thought that he took those pills in order to sleep because he suffered from insomnia. You said that it had nothing to do with his role as The Joker but you didn't state why.

Heath already had issues with insomnia before he took on the role of The Joker, playing The Joker along with the mental strain that it took to portray The Joker destroyed him.
