Columbus Day Committee Bocce Ball Contest

The Columbus Day Committee of Redwood City sponsored a bocce ball contest on Saturday, October 4, 2008.

Columbus Day Committee Chairman Terry Anderlini offers congratulations and thanks to everyone who participated and helped to make the event such a success. The menu included barbecued beef, Italian sausage, penne pasta with meat sauce, salad, bread, wine and softdrinks. Accordion player Joe Simoni, the bocce players and the spectators all helped to create an amazing atmosphere of friendship and competition that was cozy and relaxing. It was a perfect way to celebrate Italian American heritage.
