My basic recipe for Raw Taco Shells, tostadas, and corn chips:You will need:1/3 cup white onion, 1 tsp sea salt, 16 oz bag frozen corn defrosted,1/4 tsp cumin, 1/2 garlic clove,1/2 cup ground flax seeds, pinch of cayenne, pure water. I love this recipe because there are no nuts or seeds, making this easy on the digestive system.

  • Happy that I got to watch it - thank you - was wondering how long you put them in the dehydrator the second time (with the foil) after the first 5 hours? Thank you so much

  • @joyouscocreator After I put them In I usually check them in an hour and make a judgment call. I find that regardless of the steady temp in the machine, if my house is cold or humid or different it means adjusting my times. Sometimes when I store them in the fridge I "recrisp" them for 1/2 hour before eating.

  • Was really hoping to see this and learn how to make taco shells. I have had them at raw restaurants and they're great - but I have no idea how to make the shell. Anyway, the video won't play. I sent it to myself in a link and tried again and again and it still won't play. Hope it can be fixed. Thanks.

  • Thank you so very much! I'm trying to transition and needed a very simple recipe for something yummy. Can't wait to try this!

  • Excellent recipe! I made them over the weekend. I have a question - mine were crisp, but I did notice that the flax stuck in my teeth a bit. Was that supposed to happen? Bought another bag of corn to make another batch tomorrow!!!! Thanks!

  • I'm so glad you mentioned ground flax! We don't really get the health benefits of flax unless it's ground up! Yay, you! Love this tutorial!!! I'm glad you showed how thick you have to start off in order to get the taco shell shape. Rock on!

  • You're so cool! You've got such great recipes, & I really enjoy your videos!
