yes nowadays thats true, but obviously the ancestors the original Tuaregs where a very very darkskinned black saharan people, only when turks arabs european romans qonquered north-africa thats when they became whiter and whiter after rapes, just like what is now happening with the african amerikans, take chris brown for example he is a very lightskinned african american but yet black, same goes for Tuaregs most are lightskinned but many are also very very darkskinned...

maybe some form of genetic traits, but berbers are rather classified different group of indigenous population of north west africa than somalis which are in the east
