Just waiting for a nice day before I take out the Skywalker for its maiden flight.
Still have some more bits coming for it, data modem & readymadeRC gopro pan and tilt canopy.
Im trying out an FY-20A on the pan and tilt for the zoom camera to see if I can stabilize it whilst zooming - not sure how well its going to work! :P
Look out for the flight vids would should start coming through soon - unless the unspeakable happens! :)

  • Why did u sell?

  • @HARCHER77 I wanted a wing, something I could put into a dive at full speed, pull up on the elevator and not have it disintegrate, the skywalker is like a bigger easystar IMO, good to cruise around in but not for anything else.

  • hi mate, have you got more video of this set up pls. Im thinking of building a similar one but at the moment i only have the skywalker. all other equipment i still have to buy. thanks

  • @sydneyjakarta Sorry ive since sold the whole setup, if you like you can message me on here with any questions you might have - more than happy to help :)

  • Nice ... how do you counter the weight that you have placed in the wing by mounting the video transmitter in it? Please list the cameras that you are using .. this is how I plan to set mine up. Thanks

  • @N101RG 50 cent coin and some tape on the other wingtip ;)

see all

  • Thanks. Thats really good to know. So maybe it's good for a beginner like me who hasnt flown anything beyond a simulator. Did u find a plane that does what u need? Maybe the HK fpv168

  • I like the fuse..but fix a Radian Version 1 wing to that fuse and I would bet it would be an awesome flier.

  • @ehsanaman222 Thanks! :) I used Vise Polyurethane Glue, same as gorilla glue im pretty sure. I threw the glue it came with away... apparently it works alright but I didnt trust it.
