In the Persian Gulf war, the Iraqi military lost over 4,000 tanks. The Americans lost 4 I believe * with no casualties.*. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis surrendered to American troops.. so go preach your gospel somewhere else. Let's not even get into how the Iraqi military was defeated..in days.

@GoldenZealot21 You have efficiently demonstrated that you have no idea what you are talking about. The Iraqis lost 3700 tanks, of which most were T-62 and 72s. The bombing was not indiscriminate, we only attacked military targets. Their military most certainly did fight. After all,they did invade Kuwait and eventually did attack Saudi Arabia. We did support them in their war with Iran, but they are the ones to betray us by attacking our supplies of oil. How did we fail in our invasion of Iraq?

@GoldenZealot21 Why you are replying to a year old message I'll never know, but let me correct you on somethings. The Iraqis Lost thousands of tanks, even if a few were unmanned it just showed the efficiency with which the UN (United States) Air forces attacked and destroyed potential threats. The Iraqi's were the ones being aggressive towards Saudi Arabia which is where we get a lot of our major oil. If the Iraqi's were half smart, they would know not to mess with America's Oil.

@yezidi11 The United States Composed more than 80% of the UN forces that fought in that war. Also, How about you look up the detail reports of the war and see what Ground forces did the major fighting, and especially the Air Force. You clearly have no information on this war, you most likely weren't even born yet. By the way, this has nothing regarding if I know anything about warfare, this is just common knowledge, I thought it was anyway. have a good day!

All 4 of those tanks were lost to friendly fire, on the part of someone's incompetence.

Iraq's tanks were an assortment of T-55 and T-72, many of which were cheap knockoffs not actually made by Soviet Union, which had no computer controlled targeting systems, no nightvision, no reactive armor, and no air reconnaissance support.

Yeah. What an impressive victory American scored there.
