Oprah talks endorsing Obama for second term

American media mogul Oprah Winfrey explained why she has decided to endorse President Obama for a second term during her visit to India's largest literature festival in the city of Jaipur.

@walk4trot2canter3 But Obama is not doing as good as he promised!! He made manys promises about jobs and getting unemployment down and none of that happened! So people measure him up to his promises and that's where he's lacking. He can't now say, "well, things are worse than we originally thought!!" That's the same old rhetoric we got from Bush. People expect more from Obama and he hasn't delivered. As far as Oprah, she's a member of the 1%. She has no connection to ordinary Americans.

@kdavidmcd Well, I don't believe you have your facts right, however what you say could be partially true. I do believe that most mature voters do so with their own circumstances in mind. We stay with our kind, because it's where our interest are looked after. Folks tend to support the leader of their own party. Race didn't impact my decision to vote for Obama, yet I did. But then again, I'd vote for anyone who was against the stuff that went down during the last President's terms.

Many of us, including Oprah, feel that President Obama is doing as good as anyone else would be doing for the times we live in. Remember, Oprah has made all that money being smart. That same smart person backs the President. There must be something to it! Btw, I feel confident that she pays taxes, too. But she just shuts up and does it without complaint.
