Texas State Board of Education (Part 2)

Part 3 coming soon (hopefully) The Texas SBOE is going to hold its final vote on proposed changes to the state education standards later this week. This video picks out some of the most important revisions that will adversely affect Texas students for the next ten years if this shameful rewriting of history is approved.

@vbqa63 I was at the hearings too. Couldn't believe the lack of respect for the whole process that some of the board members had. I think McLeroy was out of the room during the testimonies for about 2 of the 2 and a half hours i was there.

I don't even know what to say. I mean this was wholly political. Just remember a government official who uses religion to justify policy change is honest about neither.

WHO WANTS TO KILL AMERICANS? Christian Extremism will take down the USA. More and more countries will be convinced the USA is a Christian nation and that we are in a holy war get ready for another 911, but one that will take down a whole city and not just a few buildings. This is a good thing to Christians that believe in the end times, because this destruction of innocent American lives is important for Jesus to come back and save their souls, they want this to happen. Wow. Very, very scary stuff. Thanks for posting. If anyone ever thought voting does not matter -- THINK AGAIN. These 'elected' officials -- voted on by a pitiful % of citizens -- are behaving as if they have been given a mandate. We must stop them. We must vote them OUT.
