As the designer of this knife I would to like to thank all for the comments.For the record it is Ball custom knives.For those concerned about the lockup it is rock solid in either position.As far as quality and the H D line this knife is made by Benchmade in the USA of Quality materials.This is the first multi position fixed blade to use the ball lock style lockup and this is what makes it unique and one of a kind.Try one you will love it. 440c? I guess "bikers" don't care about the type of metal in their knives. The knife seems to have great potential. For the price I would expect a higher grade metal though.
