i know when i pull my bow back it locks. do i just shoot it and it unlocks. i dont understand this part?

I got this rest! it is by far the best rest i have ever had! yes ever!! its so simple!!! wow! if i coild score it from 1 to 10 its a 10,000 so simple quiet awesome!!! Go get one now!!!
