Am so glad the Soviet Union and communism is on junk pile of history next to Nazism..SDI was a brilliantly conceived idea and in combination with the prolonged war in Afghanistan and their already faltering economy helped hasten up the dissolution of the Soviet Union.The day communism died was a great day especially for the people of eastern europe who are now free.Hopefully Putin will learn to live with that and stop making idle threats towards members of NATO,both current and future,or else...

another thing - Social Security is not a net cost to us - it is a huge benefit. Before Soc Sec, half of senior citizens lived in poverty. Also, there is no real danger whatsoever of it going broke anytime in our lives unless we have a recession for the next 32 years. It will last until at least 2041, IF the economy grows at a recession rate of less than 2% for the next 32 years. What a non-issue.

you haven't identified one false thing I've said and also continue to repeat false things I have debunked. I repeat: Reagan tripled the national debt and turned us into a debtor nation. He raised interest rates to 20%, selling billions in treasury bills from China and Japan. This strengthening of the dollar also encouraged US manufacturers to move overseas. Reagan did this all while cutting those social programs you complain about!
