La katolika eklezio, per siaj Papoj, ekde Johano Paŭlo II en 1994, sankciis la lingvon Esperanto inter la 60 lingvoj de la mondo en kiuj ĝi kutimas eldiri la benon Urbi et Orbi kaj la bondezirojn por la Kristnaskaj kaj Paskaj festotagoj.
La Radikala Esperanto-Asocio juĝas, ke estas grave valorigi tiun ĉi decidon kiu daŭras 17 jarojn por ke ĝi konkludiĝu efektive per lecionoj, eksperimentadoj kaj leĝoj en la katolikaj lernejoj kaj universitatoj, pere de parlamentanoj kaj registaroj kiuj, en la mondo kaj unualoke en Italio, referencas al la katolikaj valoroj.
Ni decidis fari ĝin dimanĉon, la 12an de junio, per pledo al Papo Benedikto XVI publikota, en itala kaj esperanta lingvoj, pere de pago sur la ĵurnalo de la Eklezio "L'Osservatore Romano", ĵurnalo kiu ankaŭ havas la avantaĝon estis distribuata internaciskale.
Ni akompanos ĉi tiun ĉeeston esperantistan sur la Vatikana ĵurnalo ankaŭ per nia persona ĉeesto sur Placo Sankta Petro.
Dimanĉo, la 12a de junio, estas la datreveno de Pentekosto kiu, en la katolika medio, rememorigas ankaŭ la kapablon donita al la disĉiploj paroli ĉiujn lingvojn.
Ĝi estas la ideala katolika festotago por starigi la demandon pri iu lingvo por ĉiuj, pri lingva demokratio kaj pri Esperanto.
En la katolika ikonografio la Sankta Spirito kiu descendas sur la Virgulinon kaj sur la apostolojn en la Manĝosalono, donante al ili la kapablecon paroli ĉiujn lingvojn, estas reprezentita per la simbola formo de fajraj langoj.
Pro tio ni decidis akompani la Pledon Esperantistan al la Papo per la vizaĝoj sur kiuj elstaras E-forma lango de fajro, de tiuj kiuj helpos al ni pagi la 6.000 eŭrojn/8.700 dolarojn, la koston de la lasta kolora paĝo de "L'Osservatore Romano" kies grandeco mezuras 375x542 mm.ojn.
Ĉiuj kiuj kontribuos per almenaŭ 10 eŭroj/14,5 dolaroj aperos per sia vizaĝo sur la paĝo de "L'Osservatore Romano," dum al tiuj kiuj donos almenaŭ 100 eŭrojn/145 dolarojn ni aĉetos kaj sendos hejmen la ĵurnalon kies paĝo certe meritos esti kadrota.

The Catholic church, with its Pontifices, since John Paul II in 1994 consecrated the Esperanto language among those 60 world languages used to announce the urbi et orbi blessing for the Christmas and Easter festivities.
The Esperanto-Radikala Asocio, believes that it is important to improve this decision, which have lasted 17 years now, to make it land actively with teachings, testing and laws in Catholic schools and universities, among Parliamentarians and governors who, in the world and starting from Italy, recall themselves to the Catholics values.
We have decided to do it on Sunday, June 12, with an appeal to Benedict 16th that is to be published, in Italian and Esperanto, and payed for, on the Vatican's internationally distributed newspaper, l'Osservatore Romano.
The Esperantist presence in the Vatican's newspaper will be joined by our physical presence at St. Peter's Square.
The anniversary of the Pentecost will take place on June 12 and represents, in the Catholic religion, the ability that allowed the disciples to speak all the languages of the world.
It is the perfect Catholic festivity to pose the issue of everybody's language, of linguistic democracy and Esperanto.
In Catholic iconography the Holy Spirit that descends and meets the Virgin and the disciples in Cenacolo giving them also the gift of glossolaly is represented under the symbolic shape of tongues of fire.
Therefore we have decided to match the Esperantist appeal to the Pontiff up with the faces, topped by a tongue of fire with the shape of an E, of those who will help us pay 6000 Euros/8.700 USD in for the last coloured page of l'Osservatore Romano, which is 375x542 mm large.
Everyone, by donating at least 10 Euros/14.5 USD, will appear with their face on l'Osservatore Romano's page, whereas those who will donate at least 100 Euros/145 USD, not only will their face be featured on the newspaper, but we will also purchase and send the newspaper to their home address, where said page will surely deserve to be framed.
