  • if i'm not mistaken, this might have been during a monsoon. I'm surprised the moog held up but not the guitar tuning, but there ya go.

  • @missinformationage Makes sense :) I did read that somewhere.. about this concert taking place in the middle of a storm.

  • it's very strange- not only is the guitar awful, it is also out of tune... odd, since this was a group of consumate musicians

  • @evelyneverettgreen Never mind the other comment...you are right...the guitar is out of tune. Wonder how that happened?

  • ...without any kind of doubt ELP at his best, even in the dirty riffs; this viedo catch the escence of the band and they pure vintage energy...times gone for ever ¡ god save ELP !

  • ... and at the end, an excerpt from "Epitaph" by King Crimson!

  • @iloverush123 actually you can hear for a slight moment that keith starts to play aquatarkus at the end, but it is cut off.

  • Great video. I think Free were the support band in this concert, just one month before Deep Purple recorded Made in Japan in August 1972. Great era.

  • super stuff..decent sound...thanx a ton !
