Band: Gorguts
Song: Inverted
album: From Wisdom to Hate

Lyrics:

ruth before your eyes
Sheltered you in lies
Through the cross, you'll find
The peacefullness once promised

Flesh denied for life
By using Christ as an acolyte
Enrolled in reclusion
Serinity will be just illusion

Upright you praise the serpent
To God, you claimed being a servant
Through sin, within you hold
Your feebleness and filthy soul

Why preaching about love and hate
When blindness enlighten your own faith
Inverted behavior
Integrety is the only saviour

Deep, is, your devotion
For the lefthand side
Peace, you connot give
To the confessed ones

False, is, your compassion
For the crucified
In which your trueself
Will persist to hide

Truth before your eyes
Sheltered you in lies
Through the cross, you'll find
The peacefullness once promised

Flesh denied for life
By using Christ as an acolyte
Enrolled in reclusion
Serinity will be just illusion

  • wtf is this shitty mcshitshit?

  • @dolguldur6 not to forget cephalic carnage!

  • @dolguldur6 Yeah man!

  • @rigolith yea I suppose, just not hearing it with these guys, I would think Cynic and Pestilence would be a better example of jazz influenced metal.

  • @dolguldur6 I think he was trying to say that, progressive or technical bands like this are heavily influenced by Jazz. The time signatures and the variations etc etc.

  • @dolguldur6 oh people just like to think they sound smart. makes up for their massive manboobs

  • I don't understand how anyone sees this as any kind of "free jazz" Its neither jazz(y) or free, most all of it is in common time. Still good though.

  • @anthonyslayer7

Not in any sense of the word, this is very tightly composed. Even though it has that chaotic sound it lacks the free improvisation that gives Free Jazz it's name.

  • Quebec , the home of technical death

  • PERFECT
