Great technique, man! The voicing against the horns are incredible.

Nice job on the making the odd time parts sound good instead of weird for the sake of being weird. Speaking of weird...your song names? haha, keeps it interesting though.

Hello Adam. Your tone is very nice. As is your use of Dorian b5.

Not bad...but I bet you can't play the Final Countdown!

Do you have to be this good to get into Berklee!?!?
By the way, resting your right arm on the bass is bad.

1) No, not at all.
2) Extreme wrist angles are bad, not resting your arm on the bass. Notice my wrist is bent generally at 20 degrees. Resting the arm on the bass is necessary for floating thumb, which is the technique I use.

1) That is definitely good.
2) I've tried floating thumb and tried to keep my arm off, and I can't make both happen at the same time.

Well, remember, keeping the arm off is just a way to keep your wrist from being bent. If you adopt a technique like floating thumb or whatever that keeps your wrist from being bent, resting your forearm is fine.

Hey Havic, really liked it. Great tone and loved the phrasing on the solo - which could have maybe even been a bit louder. Quite Tony Grey, I thought. Nice work! Regards - Mike.

Thanks, man. I'm definitely chasing that contemporary sound that cats like Grey, Gwizdala, etc have.
