Raising the stress factor a little more, now all partners attack the one in the middle. The point in these particular Systema training methods is to increase the complexity of a drill, instead of just increasing the speed and power (of course that can be done too!). This way, the practitioner applies correct biomechanics in drills of gradually increased complexity, so that he does not sacrifice efficiency in favor of effectiveness. The final goal is for our movement to be both bio-mechanically efficient (less effort) and effective (in terms of the result achieved). Vassilis Stamatiou is demonstrating the drill. This clip was filmed in a Systema fistfighting seminar, that took place in the Athens Academy of Jeet Kune Do Fighting Technology, Greece, on May 17th, 2008, with instructor Spyridon Katsigiannis from Systema Sweden - Gothenburg. systema.goteborg@gmail.com
