i don't know why people doesn't do deadlifts (and squats) at the gym, it's the BEST EVER exercise and gets you to the 60's and beyond without a-single-pain-or-problem in the back.
I'm lifting four reps with 260 lbs right now - target: 400 lbs someday!

Can I give you some advice? Ditch the belt and start doing deadstop reps. In the long run your strength will go up in leaps and bounds. Save the belt for competition time.
