@ppp1000p High box office revenue doesn't indicate quality.
While I did enjoy the movie, the third act just felt needlessly brutal and the ending is downright anticlimactic; the TV series version of the story at least brought more satisfying closure to the story.

Almost every release was a huge success, the 2010 version did better in Japan than harry potter.
