Diablo 2 Level 1 Barb vs. Andy (v2)

A level 1 barbarian killing Andariel. This build uses cinnabar jewels of envy and septic grand charms of blight to get poison damage, and khalim's wail for increased attack speed and attack rating. The rings and gloves provide poison resistance, which combined with 3 beryl small charms gives 35% poison resist. With an antidote potion, this is raised to 85%.

Basard100: Attack Rating (AR) isn't very useful in this case. The reason is that Diablo 2 calculates your chance to hit based on a formula which includes your AR, and the difference in levels between you and your target. I have plotted chance to hit as a function of AR, and the result is that even with a very high AR it makes almost no difference in chance to hit because Andy is so much higher level. It is not worth sacrificing other stats for AR on a level 1 character.
