randomly singing in public, on the sydney opera house steps (Sequence 01.mov)

Me singing in public, as part of an assignment related to audio/sound art and "audience" reactions to a performance art event. Feel free to leave comments, bearing in mind it is not supposed to sound perfect or even good, it's about the randomness of the singing for my social research and about the audio quality of various micing techniques outdoors (in this particular video the audio from the camera has been added to the audio from the microphone hidden on me). This video is only a small part of the assignment but putting it on youtube gives it a second audience and I'm interested in the difference in the reaction of the primary audience and the secondary audience. It was originally supposed to be a different song performed by a group, but due to life happening it ended up being me and a spontaneous tongue-in-cheek song change (it's supposed to be funny by the way, it's not really supposed to be a strict serious performance) hope people enjoy it, it was fun and quite freeing to do! I recommend trying it!

I really like your voice! :D nice cover of this song. I think having the audio from your hidden microphone was a good idea, it made the sound clear and seem like it was just your voice projecting. Props to you for being able to give such a great performance in public!
