ndzoko--One instance of irrefutable interference of GOD in earghly matters?!?! Ever heard of the Cross of Jesus CHrist? Jesus life, that He came to EARTH, something all historians agree upon, and died for mankind. God always is listening. Over and over again in the O.T. God "hears His people", and in the N.T., he commands us to speak with Him! He's real! He's able! He's hearing you even now! Your welcome.

@ndzoko I was recently an agnostic, addicted to HUGE amounts of Adderall daily, Klonipen addict, 1pack cigs daily, and many other carnal addictions controlling my life to purposeless measures. People prayed for me, for awhile and here is your ONE example that Jesus Christ is real and ready for your requests! I'm free from the things above. Be encouraged!!!!

God won`t listen. He never does. Give us ONE instance of irrefutable interference of a god in earthly matters. Thank you.

Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure every case of cancer on this planet tonight. We pray in faith, knowing you will bless us as you describe in Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

@Imaginefree69 Jesus's prayer regarding the crucifixion centered on God's will being done. The key is that Jesus submitted to His Father's will above His own life, health, and safety. With the denominations, that's a big problem... except that the Bible portrays all believers being one before His throne in eternity. If we're not careful, it's easy to lift one passage out of the context of the rest of scripture and say something blasphemous like that Jesus's prayers weren't answered.

@Imaginefree69 Anything prayed OUTSIDE of God's will will not be answered. That is clear as day in the Bible. If a parent gives a child a healthy snack of apples, but they ask for oranges instead - that request would possibly be granted rather if the child asks for chocolate. Jesus was praying out of desperation, yet while acknowledging and willing to submit at the same time to the Father's will - The Bible says it was God's will to crush Him (Jesus) thus, the Son submitted to the Father

I just LOVE this man! He tells it like it is.Keep that line open to GOD guys & gals. It's as simple as that. Thanks to you John for your enlightening and many funny things you say.God created us like him, with a sense of humor as well!Don't be afraid to ask of the many things that we come across daily in this 'human created' world! He understands us and knows what we are about to ask him for guidance.God truly does answer the simplest requests that are relevant to our daily lives! He knows us!
Prayer is such an amazing thing. Thank you God that we may pray to you and that you hear us.

Correction sir, he prayed "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground - Luke 22: 43-44. By the way He defeated Satan and made a shrew of him openly. The power he once had is gone, we are no longer slaves to Sin but to Righteousness, though many still 'choose' to live in Sin sadly.
