SCN Sign-Off (2007)

This is the sign-off used as of July 2007 by SCN, the Saskatchewan Communications Network, a public television network in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

This network goes off the air every day at midnight comes back on at 7:30 AM.

About the current national anthem video - try playing that version at the Grey Cup or some police or military event with that opening, and they'll accuse you of bastardizing it. People are so politically correct these days.

They have a promo now each night they go off the air i just saw it

I sometimes watch this channel and sometimes these sign-offs. The only good thing is on is some old stuff and kids shows

I just saw the closedown. Despite all the updates, the video above is the same up until after the anthem

Oh, I forgot to mention. They show some of their original regional programs on broadband video through their website

I don't know the reason why that is, but I think it is cheaper to broadcast on cable and satellite rather than build several low-power transmitters throughout the province to broadcast it over the air.

They just updated the sign-off and logo last week. I haven't watched the closedown myself or have it on tape, but the portion showing the program schedule and messages now has an animated background, and the SCN logo is in plain text
