My own homemade medicine ball experiment.
To build your own simply
-Collect all the required parts
-Puncture the Basketball
-Fill ball with sand
-Seal the puncture with the patch
Different weights can be achieved by either varying the ball size or the amount of sand in the ball.
I assume no risk for what you may do with the knowledge gained from this video :-P
It probably has some rebound, but for all intents and purposes it does not... when it hits the ground it stops pretty near immediately. I've never slammed it down on concrete but I have done multiple repeated slams into grass/ground and it holds up just fine... I've also done vertical throws allowing the ball to hit the ground, with no ill effects.

What patch did you use? And how did the patch end up holding up?

@strangeimpulse2003 I just used a standard bicycle patch I found at Wal-mart... it help up awesomely! ... it's been almost a year now and there is very little sign of wear on it.
