@UnculturedProject i have emailed you before about meeting up in bangladesh. I didn't get any reply :s
I'm living in the UK at the moment. My dad runs a charity out in bangladesh with his own money which was inspired by the suicide that i've talked about.

@LivioRazlo92 Wow - thank you for sharing this story. Have you ever thought about writing about it in more detail? A blog or something?

It may be quite Probable that her anger is well founded. The history of NGOs in Bangladesh is dark to say the least. In my fathers home village one person had taken a loan from an NGO but the interest was too much for him to pay back. He was pulled into the cycle of taking loans from other NGOs to try and pay of others. In the end the pressure forced him to suicide- leaving the insatiable NGOs holding his elderly mother now responsible for paying the loan.

@Maddog53 Exactly.

I guess it shows that while you are there with good intentions she may have a history that tells her different. Who knows how many have tried to help only to leave with no real sustainable change? That or she really is just crazy.

Glad you all are okay! :)
Thanks for keeping us updated, and not trying to sugarcoat what you're going through. You keep everything very real. I'm glad you're all safe, and I hope that woman gets help.

Shawn! ♥ I'm so glad you were still inside with the windows closed! I know we'd all be terribly crushed if anything happened to you on this project. I worry so much for you sometimes. DFTBA! Stay safe!
