@jslamko It's a set. Watch Stargate SG1 Season 8 Episode 18 ("Threads"); they use the same set as their "ethereal diner."

well the der waffle house reminds me so much of IHOP or the other restaruant called "waffle house"

Dont think its a real restaurant, at least not in the states. The show was filmed in Vancouver BC. In the show it does say the addy for the restaurant is 728 oak st. which doesn't exist.

Maybe it was intentional, or maybe it was just a stupid mistake. Rube mentions it anyway in 'A Cook' I think. Anyway it's corrected somewhere in the series.
