I made this to help me learn to hover inverted. Made of 1/8" dowel rods and zip ties. This is the first proto-type but it flies very well. I might use some carbon rod to make it even stronger. It is pretty light - still climbs fast. Best thing is it works both ways and can be taken off as simply as removing the stock landing gear. I have another set I can swap on in seconds. I hit the wall pretty hard - no damage.

  • Cool! Have you tried to roll it or flip it? It looks like it could be a little shorter. Good idea. Think I'll try it out.

  • @BrucemanRc Haven't done loops with it on yet. It is only being held on by the two stock pegs of the landing gear. If it comes off, it wouldn't be good. Luckily flying inverted actually "pushes" the heli into the gear. I also didn't want it to get too unbalanced. I made it tall to give the blade plenty of room. A sleeker, lighter carbon model is in the works though.
