Responce to Father Barron's The New Atheists, explaining why we're not hard wired for god and that atheism is not the drug thats blocking the intrinsic need for god. Atheism is the antidote thats curing the mental disease known as god.

Also, dissmissing the acusation that the depressing existentialists philosophy of the twentieth century is real atheism and therefore the atheists advertising campaign of Theres Probably No God so Stop Worrying and Enjoy Your Life, is just trivial and frivolous.

I disagree with your idea of faith completely. I have "faith" that my wife loves me and that she will act lovingly towards me tomorrow. This "faith" is really a RATIONAL prediction made because I have abundant EVIDENCE that she loves me today.

"Faith" in the reanimation of a 3-day corpse or the impregnation of a Jewish virgin by a bronze age tribal war god is utterly IRRATIONAL!

Theology (Fr. Barron) deals with religious beliefs in a rational manner and presumes faith.

Philosophy of religion is rational thought about religious issues and concerns without a presumption of the existence of a deity or reliance on acts of faith.

Remember faith is believing in something that can not possibly be true and is not a source of knowledge.

@superbartek1009 Aren't you aware of the scientific evidence about prayer? You should check it out. A fervent group of Christian supernaturalists prayed for half a group of surgery patients, but didn't pray for the other half. The experiment was double-blinded. The whole experiment was repeated several times in different ways. The result? Prayer had NO EFFECT WHATEVER. If anything the "prayed for group" had a greater percentage of complications.You can pray all you want. It's hopeless bud.

Well the unscholarly Barron has again blocked a number of earnest skeptics making powerful arguments, while allowing his theist, hateful cronies to continue to make ad hominem attacks filled with spite and vituperation. Amazing. When one has no argument, one thinks hate speech works. Barron should be ashamed. Worse, if that's the best that theists have to offer, if fully confirms by atheism!

The way you deliver your belief on atheism and "God is a disease" is enough for any person with a sense of reason to discard immediately. Your not passionate with what you believe and are very uncomfortable while conducting your response to Fr. Barron's video. It's clear that you don't truly believe what you are saying, but you are using it as justification for the life your trying to live
